Open kmbs liveDue to the pandemic, domestic tourism received a "second breath": many Ukrainians began to discover new places, while traveling abroad remained difficult or even impossible. For now, it is not yet known whether this push is enough to stimulate the development of this area, improve the quality of Ukrainian tourism product and increase demand for it, in particular, from foreigners.
Tourism integrates many economic and social spheres: from infrastructure and security to culture and communications. And if there are problems with some of them, it will hinder the development of all others. How to deal with these challenges will be discussed at the kmbs TOP Talks event with Mariana Oleskiv, head of the State Agency for Tourism Development, which launched the Travel Ukraine promotional campaign in 2020.
Aryna Satovska, director of the Republic communication agency and EMBA graduate, will be moderating the discussion. She and Mariana will talk about tourist trends, about what needs to be developed in this area first: "hard" or "soft" capabilities, as well as about the peculiarities of tourism management.
